Hi, looking for either a long scale (34") paddle, unfinished Jazz bass neck with pearloid block inlays on rosewood and binding, or if there's an inexpensive finished neck of that sort of description, with a Fender-ish (or capable of reshaping it in the ballpark). Tuner holes standard, with the standard thickness at the top of the headstock (so it can accomodate the '66 to '82 sized tuners. I've got some Wilkinsons I've converted to lollipops. Sorry Hipshot)

Eden Guitars usually have some nice paddle necks available, but they seem to have run out lately (and I don't want a maple one). I'm planning to make myself a replica 1968-69 Jazz bass (not calling it a Fender, though -- got my own name for it). Probably cannibalize a Jazz bass DIY kit, although I am concerned that the neck pocket would be a standard size.

There are some Chinese vendors that sell these really gorgeous-looking Derulo Jazz Bass necks that would be perfect, but no lefties.
