I’ll post it up when it’s done. Might take a minute to locate ‘78 electronics but I’ll get it up and running on something else in the meantime. It’ll be a “driveable project.”
. I saw the body and bugged the guy to see if he had the neck. He did. He said he wanted to keep it. He’s a righty. Then I plead the case about breaking up vintage lefties and it worked. Doesn’t always work. Having the case too was a total surprise bonus. Seller is a nice guy and understood my reasons for wanting the whole bass.
Initially it was all just a half-assed idea to pursue and see if it was a whole bass. I told Paulo I was thinking about asking the guy about it and he gave me the nudge. Paulo is an enabler in a good way lol.
It’s in pretty darn clean shape as far as I can tell from the pics. I’ve been watching Tony Franklin videos all day getting pumped up on killer fretless P tones. I even messaged him on YouTube about his string choice and he messaged back. He’s a bonafide rock star and studio ace and responds to questions on YouTube in minutes! What a nice guy. Cheers
